Mandate Manager for Greece & Cyprus, European Investment Fund
Ms Eirini Botonaki joined the European Investment Fund (EIF) in 2013 as Mandate Manager for Greece & Cyprus. In this role, she is managing the JEREMIE mandate in Greece and Cyprus, as well as the CYPEF mandate in Cyprus, while in addition more broadly contributing in business development in both countries.
Between 2002-2013, Ms Botonaki worked in London, initially for JP Morgan as Investment Banking Analyst in Telecoms, Media & Technology and then for the Global Markets division of BNP Paribas, most recently as Head of Fixed Income Institutional Sales for Greece & Cyprus. She has extensive experience in fixed income transactions, including derivatives, repos, bonds, securitisation, etc, for a wide range of clients, including banks, mutual funds, asset management companies, pension funds and other institutional clients, but also corporates.
Ms Botonaki holds an MSc in Accounting & Finance from the London School of Economics (LSE) and a BA in Business Administration from the Athens University of Economics & Business.
At the Athens Investment Summit, she will present the European Investment Fund’s activities in Greece.
